"Prince Publicly Rekindled His Affair" According to Sally Beddel Smith (royal biographer) in her book about Prince Charles, she stated he was still hopelessly in love with his ex, Camilla Parker-Bowers. He was pressured by his father to cut ties with her and wed Diana. Smith claims the Prince actually cried the night before he married Diana. Charles very publicly rekindled his affair with Camilla after Prince William and Harry were born.
